Hello, this is Michael Glass from www.soleigh.com with today’s One Minute Inspiration.
Many people feel as if they’re adrift in the world. They have the same routine day in and day out. They work hard, but they don’t seem to get anywhere worthwhile. If you’re old enough, you can remember that famous dunkin doughnuts commercial where the gentleman wakes up and says “Time to make the Doughnuts”
I think we can agree that if this sounds like your life, you might be in a rut.
So let me ask you this: What was the last goal you accomplished and checked off your to do list. Knowingly or unknowingly, all of us have goals. No successful person has ever achieved success without consciously or unconsciously setting up and achieving goals.
Lou Holtz once said, “If you’re bored with life, if you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things, you don’t have enough goals.”
But having a goal is not enough in and of itself. You have to take action by developing a plan to accomplish those goals.
A goal without a plan is just a wish.
